I believe that 3R requires the involvement of all levels of the society.

I cannot agree more that as consumers we must be mindful of our own consumption habits. We must stick to buying only what's necessary and chosing wisely in terms of quality for our own health and the environment. This is the first step and one that each of us can practice.

At another level, all plastics that are manufactured needs to be easily and quickly decomposable / biodegradable or at least environmental friendly. This stage requires the cooperation between plastic producing companies and the authorities.

May the efforts of preserving our earth become one that is seriously undertaken and with sincere concerns and actions.

I believe that the 3R principles play a vital role in our daily lives. By applying these three principles, I am sure that the earth will become healthier. Small actions such as using eco-bag and reusable straw may not lead to a greener Earth overnight. However, if we consistently practice the 3R principles and ensure that the younger generations practice it too, I strongly believe it will leave a huge positive impact on our planet.

@aliya Yes glad that most of the shop in Malaysia will charge for plastic bags to their customer like Eco Shop. Even 99 Speedmart dont even provide plastic bags anymore.

Based on the video, it is clear that we are producing a massive amount of plastic every second, and the best we can do is reduce our daily plastic usage. However, I appreciate that the video introduced the concept of a circular economy, as I had never heard of it before.

I understand that they mentioned the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) are not enough and suggested a zero-waste campaign instead. However, I feel that in today’s world, many people prioritize convenience over sustainability, making the zero-waste concept difficult to implement on a large scale. Additionally, younger generations often have a mindset of "We’re doomed anyway, so why bother?" which further lowers the likelihood of achieving a zero-waste society anytime soon.

That being said, it’s encouraging to see that some companies are already taking the initiative to make positive changes. As consumers, we tend to buy what is readily available, so I believe companies should take more responsibility for their production choices and environmental impact.

Based on the video, I strongly believe by practicing 3R which is reuse, reduce and recycle in daily life will help in keeping environment better. We can reduce waste, save resources and keep the earth clean by reducing the pollution. Each individual holds a responsibility in practicing 3R concept to ensure a healthy and sustainable environment for the future.

@imannisya I agree with the statement "each individual holds the responsibility". We as citizens can't rely on the government only to make the changes. We as individual also need to take the responsibility to reduce the pollution. I mean small thing can make changes. Imagine 8.2 billion peoples around the world practice this 3R, wow..

best believe that 3R is well acknowledge to everyone, but one important thing that we do not know is on how to practice this method. As it requires energy and money to processed recycle stuff, we should reduce the consumption of those things first.

reduce can be started from a production company by using an environmental friendly packagings. But not only that, we as a user also need to make a right choice by choosing an eco-friendly products.
