I strongly believe that 3R is a crucial initiative that every single person should take part in. However, the exposure to 3R nowadays are less than we used to have. Schools and other academic institutions, should reinforce the 3R program periodically.

@afiah Yes! Schools should reinforce 3R programs, and social media can also help spread awareness effectively.

@afiah Yes, I agree with you. The 3R initiative is important and everyone should be involved. Schools, universities should teach and remind students about the importance of reducing, reusing, and recycling more often. Maybe by organizing 3R weeks, where students collect recyclables and take part in activities like creating an innovative product by using recyclable materials. This would not only raise awareness but also encourage students to practice 3R in their daily lives, making it a habit for the future.

In my opinion, if we all commit to the 3Rs, we can create a healthier, greener world for future generations cause the future depends on our action today.

I never realized how much waste we produce daily. Glad to see now many shops like 99 Speedmart no longer provide plastic bags, and most stores charge for them to encourage customers to bring their own bags. It’s a good step towards reducing plastic waste!

@athirah Yes, small changes like this can make a big impact. More stores should adopt similar eco-friendly practices.

Practicing the 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) principle is a simple yet powerful way to protect the environment. By reducing waste, reusing items, and recycling materials, we can conserve resources, minimize pollution, and create a more sustainable future. Small changes in our daily habits can make a big impact!
